FAQ

Why do swaps and deposits take minutes?

Anything that crosses networks is settled by a bridge and solver network and needs the origin network to confirm. Most swaps take under a minute; deposits and withdrawals on slower networks like Bitcoin take longer.

An XRP payment settles in seconds because it stays on the XRP Ledger. A swap or a cross-chain transfer leaves it, so it inherits the speed of every network it touches.

  • The origin network must confirm the deposit. On Base or Solana that is quick; on Ethereum it depends on congestion; on Bitcoin it is tens of minutes.
  • The settlement itself is fast, typically seconds once the deposit is seen.
  • The withdrawal to the destination network again takes that network's time.

Leaving the screen does not cancel anything. If a transfer is pending well beyond the normal time for its route, the issue page My swap is stuck on Pending says when and how to contact us.
