Which XRP Ledger features does XRP Mobile support?
Today: XRP send and receive on the XRP Ledger, and swaps and multichain assets through NEAR Intents. Not yet: XRPL issued tokens (IOUs, trust lines), NFTs, MPTs, the on ledger DEX and AMMs and the other amendments. Those are coming, IOUs first.
Supported now
- Send and receive XRP on the XRP Ledger, with destination tags.
- Create a wallet with a 12 word phrase, or import one with a phrase or with Xaman secret numbers.
- Buy XRP with a card.
- Swap XRP for Bitcoin, Ether, USDC and dozens of other assets, and hold, receive and send those assets on their own networks. This layer runs through NEAR Intents and needs no XRP or gas of its own.
Not yet
- Tokens issued on the XRP Ledger: IOUs and trust lines (RLUSD and others), NFTs, MPTs.
- The on ledger DEX and AMM pools, escrows, checks, payment channels, and the other amendments.
If your account already holds any of these, they stay on the ledger and are visible on any explorer; only the app does not show them yet. See Where are my XRPL tokens?.
The plan
IOUs and other XRP Ledger tokens come first, and the intention is to support the XRP Ledger's features and amendments progressively, release by release.
Which tokens and networks does XRP Mobile support?
XRP natively on the XRP Ledger, plus every asset and network that NEAR Intents supports for deposits, swaps and sends. New tokens are added by the intents network, not by XRP Mobile.
Why do swaps and deposits take minutes?
Anything that crosses networks is settled by a bridge and solver network and needs the origin network to confirm. Most swaps take under a minute; deposits and withdrawals on slower networks like Bitcoin take longer.
