Sending a token, or to another network, fails
Tokens other than XRP, and anything sent to another network, go through NEAR Intents rather than the XRP Ledger. They fail for their own reasons: no quote, an amount under the minimum, an exchange on a network that needs a tag, or a problem after you confirmed.
How it shows up
- I can't send my USDC
- Sending USDT to Base fails
- It won't let me send my USDC to my exchange on the XRP Ledger
- My USDC send failed and there is no hash
- It warns me that sending to an exchange on this network is not supported
- My USDT send failed after I confirmed and it shows a hash
Support can resolve this in chat
Follow the steps below; the support agent can walk you through them.
Check it yourself
- Which applies: what the app says?
- If that it couldn't fetch a quote to send, or Quote unavailable, read "Quote unavailable: I cannot get a quote to swap or send".
- If that the amount must be at least something, or that the minimum amount is unavailable, read "The amount is under the minimum" below.
- If a warning that sending to an exchange on that network is not supported, read "Sending to an exchange on Stellar, TON or the XRP Ledger" below.
- If an error after you confirmed, and it shows a hash, continue with step 2.
- If an error after you confirmed, with no hash, read "It failed with no hash" below.
- If something else, contact support from Settings, then Support.
- Paste the hash shown with the error into explorer.near-intents.org.
- If nothing is found, contact support from Settings, then Support.
- If it shows Pending or Processing, and the swap started less than 30 minutes ago, read "It is still going through" below.
- If it shows Pending or Processing, and the swap started more than 30 minutes ago, contact support from Settings, then Support.
- If it shows Success, read "It went through" below.
- If it shows Refunded, read "It was refunded" below.
- If it shows Failed or Incomplete deposit, contact support from Settings, then Support.
Have this ready if you contact support
- The token, the network and the amount
- The message the app shows, or a screenshot
- The hash shown with the error, if there is one
What is going on
Only XRP sent to an XRP Ledger address travels on the XRP Ledger. Every other token, and anything sent to another network, is routed through NEAR Intents: the app gets a quote for the route, and the transfer settles on the destination network. Each step has its own ways to fail, and none of them puts your funds at risk: if a send cannot go through, the tokens stay in your wallet or come back to it.
The amount is under the minimum
Every token and network has a minimum per send, set by the route, and the amount field shows it (Amount must be ≥ …). Below it there is no route. Send at least the minimum. If the app says Minimum amount unavailable, it could not load the minimum at that moment: tap to retry, or try again in a few minutes.
Sending to an exchange on Stellar, TON or the XRP Ledger
Exchanges on these networks need a destination tag (or memo) to know the deposit is yours, and a send from your multichain balance cannot carry one. The app warns you because the funds would reach the exchange with no way to credit them. Send to a wallet you control on that network instead. For an exchange on the XRP Ledger, swap to XRP first and send the XRP with the exchange's destination tag, see Send with a destination tag.
It failed with no hash
When the error comes without a hash, the send usually did not go out, and nothing left your balance. Pull down on the wallet home to refresh and check the token's balance. If it is all there, try again in a few minutes, perhaps with a slightly different amount. If the balance went down, contact support from Settings, then Support, with the token, network, amount and the time you tried.
It is still going through
The send was accepted and is still settling on the destination network. That usually takes a few minutes, longer on congested networks or for Bitcoin. See My swap or cross-chain send is taking long.
It went through
The transfer completed on the destination network. If the recipient does not see it, check they are looking on the same network you sent to, and give them the transaction. If it went to an exchange that has not credited it, see I sent to an exchange from another network and it was not credited.
It was refunded
The route could not complete, so the tokens went back to your wallet. Pull down on the wallet home to refresh, then try again, perhaps with a slightly different amount.
My swap or cross-chain send is taking long
Anything that crosses networks (a swap, a send to another chain, a deposit from another chain) takes as long as the slowest network involved needs to confirm. Here is what is normal and when to contact us.
I received a tiny amount of XRP I did not expect
Anyone can send a fraction of a cent to any XRP Ledger address, and some senders do it to advertise. The transactions are real and harmless. Ignore them, and never follow a link or a name they carry.
