The Activity list does not match what the explorer shows
Activity is a convenience view, the ledger is the truth. Payments made from another device, a duplicated row, or a swap whose visible hash is only its first leg all make the two disagree without anything being wrong with your funds.
How it shows up
- There are two transactions with the same hash
- A transaction I made on my other phone is missing
- Activity shows the XRP payment of my swap but not the swap itself
- Tapping a transaction in Activity opens a screen that keeps loading
- Activity shows a payment that the explorer does not
Support can resolve this in chat
Follow the steps below; the support agent can walk you through them.
How support confirms it
- Look the address up on xrpscan.com and compare the last transactions with the user's screenshot of Activity.
- For a swap or cross-chain transfer, open the intents hash on explorer.near-intents.org: the app may be showing the deposit leg's hash, which looks like a plain payment.
- If the explorer shows a payment the user does not recognise, read the wallet hacked page before anything else.
- Two rows, one hash, one payment on the explorer: a display duplicate, harmless. Two payments on the explorer: two real transactions.
Have this ready if you contact support
- Your XRP address
- A screenshot of Activity
- The hash you are asking about
Why they can differ
- XRP payments are read from the XRP Ledger and appear on every device that holds the wallet.
- Swaps and cross-chain transfers are tracked by the device that started them. The same wallet on a second phone shows the XRP leaving, but not the swap card with its intents hash.
- The hash on a swap card may be the hash of the deposit leg, the payment that moved your XRP into the swap, rather than the swap itself. Both are real, and the explorer of NEAR Intents links one to the other.
- A row that opens forever or appears twice is a display bug being worked on. Neither changes anything on the ledger.
What to trust
The explorer. Paste your address into xrpscan.com for XRP Ledger payments, and an intents hash into explorer.near-intents.org for swaps and cross-chain transfers. If the explorer and Activity disagree, the explorer is right, and support will use it too.
If the explorer shows something you did not do
Stop and read I think my wallet was hacked or drained.
The app says my account needs activating
A brand new XRP Ledger account does not exist on the network until it receives its first 1 XRP. Until then the app shows an activation card and you cannot send or swap XRP. Tokens on other networks are separate: you can receive and hold them before activating. Once the first XRP arrives the account is active, and 1 XRP of it stays locked as the reserve.
Balances or prices are not loading, or show zero
When many people open the app at once, or a data provider is slow, balances and prices can spin, show zero or show a stale value for a few minutes. Your XRP is on the XRP Ledger the whole time, and an explorer proves it; your other tokens are held in the multichain layer, and when it is unavailable they drop out of the list until it is back. At those times, importing a wallet can also wrongly say the recovery phrase is invalid.
